Milestones!!!

First of all I want to thank everyone who prayed for Elise. The cardiologist said that her patent ductus arteriosis is just about closed! Praise God! He said there is absolutely nothing to be concerned about. He could barely hear her heart murmur. We set a follow up visit in August. I did ask him about Mollie. He said we don't need to have her checked at all. She's perfectly fine!

Yesterday, my mom-in-law and I took the babies to have another shot (for RSV). Are you ready for this???? Preston is 12 lbs 2 oz. Mollie and Elise both are 11 lbs even!!!! Elise caught up to her big sister. This also means they are now on the regular full term baby growth chart. They are in the 25 percentile. They are so big and healthy. I'm so proud and thankful! Preston is now out of newborn clothing and 0-3 months! He's wearing 3 month and 3-6 months. The girls are just about there.

They can now be around other children who are not sick. We're still going to be extremely careful. We may go to church this coming Sunday. We just have to make sure that anyone who is sick doesn't hold or touch them.

They are really responding to me and Bronson now. It's nice!! Also, Mollie turned over this morning!!! I can't believe it! I had her on her back and next thing I know, she was on her side....then on her tummy. I was so excited! I was told that they would catch up to their full term counterparts by age 2. But I'm believing they're already caught up! God is so good!!!

Just Having Fun!

Well....just a quick update on how everything is going. We're having a ball!! The kiddos are starting to be awake more. Their schedule is changing again. They are actually sleeping most of the night!! It's wonderful! So, that means they're staying awake more during the day. We have "tummy time" to get them to start lifting their heads. Although they were born 2 months premature, they are doing what most 2 to 3 month old full term babies are doing. Both Mollie and Elise can hold their head up very well and even turn their head. Preston is getting there. Poor baby...his head is so big so it takes him a little longer.
Tomorrow is Elise's cardiology appointment. We're praying for a good report. My mom and I will be taking all 3 babies with us. Crazy!!! I want to find out what the cardiologist says about Mollie as well.
Other than that....we're just having fun.

Yay!! I'm finally able to update some photos and information. The kids are doing great! They are getting huge! Preston is now 11 pounds! Mollie is 10 lbs 10 oz and Elise is 10 pounds! They are chunky monkeys!!!

We've had a very busy week. The babies had their first photo shoot. What a job! Grandma and I had our work cut out for us. The photo with the black background is from the studio. I did the green background myself. Both times.....very hard. The people at the studio did a great job.

This was the week for "firsts". Yesterday, Grandma, Gamma and I took the babies out to a restaurant for the first time. What fun! They did really well. We actually got to eat our lunch (well, most of it) before anyone got upset. We also went to the NICU to visit all the wonderful nurses that got our babies off to a great start. They couldn't believe how big they got. Mommy and Daddy are very proud.

Next week Elise will have her cardiology appointment. I'm hoping all goes well. The girls are still on their monitors. I would really like for them to be off of them soon. We'll see. We did set the baby dedication on April 19th. I can't wait! I'm so excited to finally get to go to church. I've been missing it so much.

That's about it. I'll post more info later.
